Based on years of officiating weddings, this course guides engaged partners through the key aspects of their story and how to build a day that truly embodies their unique richness.

I began working as an officiant in 2018. Because I couldn’t take it anymore. The wedding ceremonies were just too bland, too standardized, too obliterating of the beautiful stories represented in these unions.

It was time for a change.

What I learned in the process is what I also applied to my own wedding (for which I wrote the homily rather than the vows): that our stories are the heart of how we build and make anything that matters.
